Master the art of artisanal eyewear through digital technologies. This course is designed for makers, artisans, and enthusiasts looking to create custom frames. From the initial sketch to machining programming, you will learn the industrial process adapted for a desktop CNC router.

🎓 The Course Curriculum The training is divided into progressive modules, designed to make you completely autonomous:

Module 1: 2D Design with Illustrator

  • Creating the template and respecting ergonomic dimensions.

  • Vector drawing of the front and temples.

Module 2: 3D Modeling with Fusion (360)

  • Importing vectors and creating volumes.

  • Designing the front curvature, integrating the nose pad, and managing thickness.

Module 3: Toolpath Programming (CAM)

  • Front machining: Milling strategies, creating the eyewire groove (lens groove), inner and outer contour cutting.

  • Temple machining: Programming the insertion of metal wire cores, hinge placement, and contour cutting.

📦 Included Material Kit (Shipped to your home) To go straight from theory to practice, the course includes a batch of premium raw materials allowing you to manufacture up to 12 pairs of glasses:

  • 12 Cellulose acetate plates, 6 mm (ideal for sculpting fronts).

  • 6 Cellulose acetate plates, 4 mm (specific for machining temples).

  • 12 Pairs of traditional riveted hinges.

  • 12 Pairs of metal wire cores to reinforce and adjust the temples.
